Job Description

Your role will focus on providing high-quality music therapy services within an educational setting over a 12-week period, starting in August and concluding in November. While the standard schedule offers up to 40 hours per week, there is flexibility for those seeking part-time hours.

Key Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), or eligible for certification
  • Experience with school-aged children and adolescents strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized and group music therapy plans
  • Commitment to creating a supportive, creative, and inclusive space for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver music therapy interventions to individuals and small groups spanning a range of ages and abilities
  • Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and support staff to ensure therapy complements each students educational goals
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress in accordance with school guidelines
  • Adapt musical activities to meet the diverse needs within the student population
  • Participate in team meetings and school-related events as required
