The position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek from August through November, located near Fort Worth, TX.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) or eligibility for certification
• Previous experience working in school settings a plus, but not required
• Ability to develop and implement creative music therapy interventions
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students
• Experience working with diverse age groups and backgrounds
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and develop individualized music therapy plans
• Facilitate group and individual music therapy sessions for students across grade levels
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate music therapy into students' educational goals
• Observe, document, and report on students progress
• Modify interventions and approaches as necessary to ensure effectiveness
• Support and encourage students to engage and express themselves through music
