A licensed practical nurse (LPN) opportunity is available to provide dedicated care for students in a middle school setting in Woodbridge, VA. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 15, 2026, offering a supportive, onsite role focused on delivering specialized health services to students with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and managing seizure activity, including administering seizure rescue medication and providing first aid.
• Assisting students with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, meals, and mobility support.
• Supporting students who are wheelchair-dependent or require assistance with oral feedings and safety precautions related to choking risks.
• Accompanying students during transportation routines, including bus rides, when applicable.
• Maintaining close collaboration with school personnel and families to ensure individualized care plans are followed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia LPN license is required.
• Experience in seizure monitoring and administering rescue medications in a school or similar pediatric setting.
• Ability to support students with diverse needs, from ambulation assistance to feeding support.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to student care.
