A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide specialized healthcare services for an elementary school student in a K-12 setting near Brunswick, GA. This contract position starts ASAP and continues through May 22, 2026. The role involves working closely with the student to manage complex medical needs while supporting their educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and managing medical conditions such as seizure disorder with recurrent episodes, G-tube feeding, and strict NPO (nothing by mouth) protocols
• Assisting with quadriplegia care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the school day
• Collaborating with school staff and healthcare providers to implement individual health plans and emergency procedures
• Documenting health status and interventions accurately in compliance with school and healthcare regulations
• Responding promptly to medical emergencies or changes in the students condition

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current LPN/LVN licensure
• Prior experience providing care for students with complex medical needs, especially in a school setting
• Knowledge of seizure management and feeding tube care procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with educators, families, and healthcare teams
• Familiarity with protocols for students with quadriplegia and strict NPO orders
