Take on a rewarding opportunity providing essential care and support in a school environment as an LVN working one-on-one with a young student. Located near Ventura, CA, this contract position focuses on specialized pediatric care for a 3-4 year old PEEP student who has a feeding tube. Youll be onsite at a single school, working part-time hours tailored to the student's needsstarting with just 1 hour daily for a few weeks and then moving to a potential 3-4 hours each day. This assignment starts as soon as possible, continuing through June and potentially into the next school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active LVN License for California
• Previous experience working in pediatric or school settings preferred, especially with medically fragile students
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with young children
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families
• Familiarity with g-tube feeding procedures and emergency protocols
• Reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care, including feeding tube management, for a young student during school hours
• Monitor the students health status and respond promptly to any concerns
• Communicate effectively with school personnel and the students family
• Keep accurate documentation of care provided and daily observations
• Ensure compliance with all school and nursing safety standards
• Participate in team meetings when necessary to discuss student progress
