Job Description
A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing nursing support within a K-12 school environment in Vancouver, WA. This onsite, contract position involves delivering care and health services directly to students, ensuring their well-being and supporting the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health assessments to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health plans individualized for student needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid support on campus
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventative care
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State LPN license
- Experience working with children or in a school nursing setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with school personnel, students, and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Location:
- Vancouver, Washington (onsite)
