Depending on your licensure and experience, you may supervise the health room as an RN, provide hands-on care as an LPN, or deliver dedicated 1:1 support to students needing ongoing attention. Qualifications and Preferences:

• Active Florida LPN License or RN ASN is required
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Capable of full-time commitment
• Strong record-keeping abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, especially with parents, educators, and staff
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently in a school health setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor diabetic students
• Assess and triage student health concerns or injuries
• Deliver emergency response and first aid care as needed
• Maintain accurate records of immunizations and clinic visits
• Communicate effectively with families and school staff regarding student care
• Oversee daily operations of the school health clinic
• Support fellow clinic nurses to ensure seamless clinic performance
