A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a leave coverage position in an elementary school setting in Tacoma, WA, for the month of January. This contract role involves supporting health room responsibilities across two elementary schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care and health room duties to students and staff
• Manage student health records, administer medications, and respond to minor illnesses or injuries
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment
• Perform daily health screenings and follow established protocols

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State
• Experience working in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple health-related tasks efficiently

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Position covers two elementary schools in Tacoma, WA
• Contract duration: January only (leave coverage)
