Make a meaningful impact supporting student success with this full-time role working closely with a student in a school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your nursing expertise in a one-on-one capacity, providing essential care and support to a high school-aged student with complex medical needs. Youll play a pivotal role in their safety and daily engagement.

Your role centers on assisting a 15-year-old female student who utilizes a wheelchair and requires g-tube feeding, tracheostomy, and ventilator support. The school day is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm, with the potential for extended hours (7:15am3:15pm) if you are able to join the student during transportationthis is considered a strong advantage but not required.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license required
• Proven experience with pediatric, trach, vent, and g-tube care
• Previous school nursing or 1:1 pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable collaborating with school staff, students, and families
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally to emergencies
• Willingness to support the students daily educational activities
• Reliable attendance and a commitment to maintaining a positive environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency clinical care as the students dedicated nurse
• Closely monitor and document health status throughout the day
• Safeguard the students well-being during school activities and transportation (if applicable)
• Communicate vital information with educators, families, and other support personnel
• Support the students inclusion and participation in the school community
