A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to support students in a high school setting. This onsite role requires providing nursing care within a general group home or classroom environment, with the possibility of 1:1 support for students with specialized health needs, including G-tube care, seizure management, and ventilator or tracheostomy support. Assignments will be tailored to individual skillsets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and monitor student health in a school environment
- Provide one-on-one support for students requiring specialized medical attention
- Collaborate with educational and medical staff to ensure comprehensive student care
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with caregivers and educators
- Respond to emergencies and implement care plans as necessary
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in Tennessee
- Experience with pediatric or school nursing preferred
- Ability to manage complex medical needs such as G-tube feeding, seizure protocols, and ventilator/tracheostomy care
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Setting: High School
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: Contract for the current school year
