Youll be providing dedicated 1:1 care for a preschool-aged student with a feeding tube, ensuring their safety, comfort, and participation in the school setting.

This is an onsite, part-time positionperfect for professionals seeking a reduced or adaptable schedule, with hours ranging from 5 to 20 per week. The initial schedule involves assisting the student for one hour daily, with the possibility of extending to three or four hours as the weeks progress.

Qualifications:

• Current and active LVN/LPN license for the state of California
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 nursing preferred
• Knowledgeable and comfortable with G-tube care
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with school staff and parents
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting a young students health needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, 1:1 nursing care for a male preschool student on campus
• Safely manage and monitor G-tube feedings and related care
• Respond attentively to the students medical needs while at school
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family to create a safe and supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate care documentation and communicate updates as needed
