A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a temporary leave position covering two elementary schools in Seattle, WA, for the month of January. This contract role involves managing health room responsibilities and providing essential nursing support in an elementary school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health services to elementary school students
• Manage health room operations, including assessing and treating minor illnesses and injuries
• Administer medication and maintain health records according to state guidelines
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student health and safety
• Respond to student health emergencies promptly and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Current Practical Nurse License (LPN/LVN) in the state of Washington
• Experience working in school health services or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a school environment

Location:

• Seattle, Washington
• Position requires coverage of two elementary schools

Schedule:

• 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Temporary leave assignment for the month of January
