Bring your passion for supporting student health to a dynamic school environment near Scranton, PA! This engaging contract opportunity is perfect for compassionate LPNs/LVNs who are dedicated to improving the well-being of children and adolescents. You'll be working onsite with one student (1:1 caseload), allowing you to make a significant impact through direct, individualized care during the 2026-2027 school year.
What Youll Need:
- Active LPN/LVN license valid in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or psychiatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a school environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following all medical and district protocols
- Professionalism and adaptability in diverse educational settings
Your Role:
- Deliver tailored nursing care to a single student throughout the school day
- Administer medications and provide support for health conditions as required
- Respond to acute student needs in line with established care plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic support
- Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of care and interventions
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive learning atmosphere
