Key Qualifications:

• Current and active LVN license in California
• Experience as an LVN/LPN within school or pediatric settings is preferred
• Comfortable working in a variety of school environments
• Ability to handle diabetic care and other daily medical tasks for students
• Strong communication and organizational skills

What Youll Do:

• Provide health services and support to students, with a focus on diabetic care
• Travel to different campuses within the district as needed
• Administer medications and first aid per physician orders and established school protocols
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and medical professionals
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when necessary
• Educate students and staff on healthcare and wellness best practices
