In this role, youll collaborate with school personnel to provide direct and preventive care, manage routine and emergency health issues, and ensure compliance with school health protocols. Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong assessment, triage, and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents
- Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced, diverse environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer first aid, medications, and prescribed treatments to students
- Support students with chronic conditions and coordinate individual health plans
- Conduct health screenings and monitor for communicable diseases
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Act as a resource for health education and promote wellness throughout the school
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, following district safety protocols
