Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong assessment, triage, and documentation abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced, diverse environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid, medications, and prescribed treatments to students
  • Support students with chronic conditions and coordinate individual health plans
  • Conduct health screenings and monitor for communicable diseases
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records
  • Act as a resource for health education and promote wellness throughout the school
  • Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, following district safety protocols
