Key Qualifications:

• Active LVN license in California
• Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience highly preferred
• Proficient in caring for children with chronic conditions, especially diabetes
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing environments
• Compassionate, reliable, and organized team player

Core Responsibilities:

• Travel between school sites within the district to address diverse student health needs
• Perform diabetes care, medication administration, health assessments, and emergency response
• Collaborate with faculty, parents, and healthcare providers to create and follow medical care plans
• Document services accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Provide essential health education and advocacy for students and staff
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and healthy school setting for all
