A full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) opportunity is available in a school setting within San Diego, CA. This contract position is designed for an LVN who is active and licensed in California, with a passion for pediatric care and school nursing.
Responsibilities include providing nursing support during the after-school program hours from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, totaling 32 hours per week. The role involves floating throughout the district to attend to various medical needs of students, ensuring their health and safety in a supportive educational environment.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active LVN license in California
- Experience in pediatric nursing and school health services preferred
- Ability to manage a variety of medical situations in children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
