Location: St. Francis, MN 55070
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Assignment Dates: ASAP June 3, 2027 (tentative; follows the assigned school calendar)

Make a meaningful impact this school year! Were seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a middle school student. This is an opportunity to use your pediatric nursing expertise to help a student safely navigate their school day while supporting their health, comfort, and participation in the classroom.

What Youll Do

  • Provide individualized, 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day.

  • Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed in accordance with the student's individualized healthcare plan.

  • Monitor the student's condition and respond appropriately to changing healthcare needs.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care, observations, and interventions.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, school staff, and family to support continuity of care.

  • Accompany the student on the school bus to and from home as required by the transportation schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota LPN license.

  • Current CPR/AED certification.

  • At least 2 years of experience working with pediatric patients or students.

  • Experience with tracheostomy care and suctioning.

  • Comfort providing attentive, individualized care to a student with complex medical and/or developmental needs.

  • Ability to accompany the student on school bus transportation as required.
