This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) passionate about making a difference in a special education setting. As the dedicated LPN for a multiple disability classroom, youll collaborate closely with staff to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students aged elementary-school level.

Your primary focus will be on a small caseload, with six students previously, providing individualized care and attention. This includes managing G-tube feedings, monitoring and responding to seizure activity, and regularly updating care plans to reflect best practices. Your ability to work independently, remain highly attentive, and prioritize tasks is essentialleadership and initiative are highly valued in this supportive community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active PA LPN license required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional, proactive approachcapable of taking charge without constant supervision
  • Commitment to minimizing distractions and maximizing time spent assisting students and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care to students, including medication administration and health interventions
  • Monitor students with complex health needs, such as G-tube and seizure management
  • Update and maintain individualized student care plans
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families for holistic student support
  • Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment
