Step into a dynamic educational setting supporting students with varying healthcare needs for the 20262027 school year. In this full-time, onsite role, youll make a tangible difference working with a single school, providing essential nursing care either as a float or in a dedicated 1:1 assignment. This opportunity offers both meaningful impact and the chance to use your clinical skills in ways that truly matterMonday through Friday, following the full academic calendar from August to June.
Your expertise will be crucial in caring for students with conditions such as G-tube dependence, diabetes management, epilepsy care, and other mild to moderate health needs. As a valued team member, youll collaborate closely with educators and families to foster a safe, supportive school environment where every child can thrive.
What Youll Bring:
- Active LPN license issued by the state of Washington
- Experience supporting pediatric or school-aged children preferred
- Proficiency with G-tube care, diabetic and epileptic care
- Compassion, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respect for every student
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct health care to students according to physician orders and individual care plans
- Respond promptly to emergency medical needs while remaining calm and effective
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff on student wellness and safety
- Maintain accurate records and administer medication as prescribed
- Educate staff and students as needed on relevant health topics
