A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a temporary leave coverage position in an elementary school setting located in Puyallup, WA. This contract role will cover health room responsibilities across two elementary schools, ensuring the health and safety of students during the assignment month.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services and first aid to students in a school environment
• Manage health room operations, including medication administration and health assessments
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
• Respond promptly and appropriately to student health emergencies

Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN license valid in the state of Washington
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric health care preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple health care tasks effectively
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day, throughout the month of January
