Job Description

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide dedicated healthcare support within a K-12 school setting located in Princess Anne, MD. This full-time, contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to deliver hands-on nursing care and support to medically complex students, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one nursing care for a medically complex student, including medication administration, monitoring health status, and emergency response.
Support additional students with healthcare needs when the primary student is not in attendance.
Collaborate with school staff and families to implement individualized health plans.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies.
Respond immediately to health emergencies and provide CPR and first aid as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Current CPR certification.
Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple healthcare needs simultaneously.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday.
Contract position for the current school year (CSY).
