This contract opportunity is ideal for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) passionate about supporting children and adolescents while working onsite in elementary, middle, or high school settings. Positions are part-time on a PRN (substitute/per diem) basis, with the possibility of advancing to full-time depending on district needs.

As a crucial part of the school health room team, youll manage a wide range of student needs, providing clinical care and support to help students thrive throughout the school day. This role offers competitive pay of $29$30 per hour and the potential for a long-term commitment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida LPN license required
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in schools is a plus
• PRN, substitute, and part-time positions available; increased hours may be offered based on need
• Must complete district orientation and ongoing training prior to starting
• Ability to work independently at an assigned campus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and basic first aid to students
• Support students with chronic health conditions or medication administration
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate with school staff and families as needed
• Respond quickly and effectively to student health issues as they arise throughout the day
• Uphold district health room protocols and safety regulations
