Position Overview
Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 medical support for a student requiring tracheostomy and ventilator care. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a school-based setting with a consistent weekday schedule.
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 4
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Assignment: 1:1 Student Support
Location: Mt. Lebanon School District
Responsibilities
Provide direct one-on-one nursing care throughout the school day
Monitor and manage tracheostomy and ventilator needs
Respond to medical concerns and emergencies as appropriate
Document care provided and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
Support student safety, participation, and academic success
Required Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
Previous tracheostomy and ventilator experience required
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently while supporting student health needs
