Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse for a school-based opportunity in Paramus, New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for a nursing professional who enjoys working with children and is passionate about providing quality healthcare support in an educational setting.

Position Highlights

• Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day

• Monitor student health conditions and respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical concerns

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies

• Assist students with ongoing medical needs and individualized healthcare plans

• Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation

• Communicate with families, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers as appropriate

• Collaborate with school staff to promote student health, safety, and well-being

• Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license required

• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred

• Experience working with children or students with special healthcare needs is a plus

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the school team
