Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active LPN or LVN license in Florida
- Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to efficiently assess and respond to a wide range of student health concerns
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Administer routine and emergency medical care to students and staff
- Dispense medications and manage student health plans in compliance with state and district protocols
- Maintain precise and confidential medical documentation
- Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families, offering guidance and education as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to support students well-being
- Monitor and assist students with chronic conditions, allergies, injuries, and illnesses throughout the school day
