A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide essential healthcare support within a high school setting in Ooltewah, TN. This contract role spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to utilize nursing skills in a dynamic educational environment. The position involves working onsite, Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include supporting students in a general group home or classroom setting and, depending on your skill set, providing one-on-one care to students requiring specialized medical attention such as G-tube feeding, seizure management, and ventilator or tracheostomy care. Assignments will be tailored to your qualifications and experience to ensure the best possible support for students.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a current LPN license valid in Tennessee
- Experience working with school-aged children in a healthcare capacity is preferred
- Ability to manage complex medical needs with compassion and professionalism
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals
Location: Ooltewah, TN (onsite at a high school)
