Part-Time LPN Opportunity in a K-12 School Setting East Spanaway, WA

A school district located in East Spanaway, WA is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time, contract position working 2 to 3 days per week. This floating role supports students across K-12, offering a dynamic nursing practice with diverse responsibilities, including the potential for tracheostomy care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Manage health needs including medication administration and trach care when applicable
  • Serve as a float nurse covering multiple school buildings
  • Participate in before- and after-school activities to support increased hours (optional)
  • Collaborate with school staff to maintain student health and safety in the absence of direct nursing supervision

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current LPN license for the state of Washington is required
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
