Your nursing expertise will play a key role in student health and well-being, collaborating with an inclusive team and enjoying a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, totaling 32.5 hours per week.
The position welcomes professionals with current credentials as an LPN, RN, LVN, or CNA, offering the chance to support a diverse student population including those with mild to moderate disabilities. In addition to traditional school nurse responsibilities, you may conduct evaluations, facilitate basic health screenings such as vision and hearing, andif youre willingoffer informal CPR training to staff (though this is not a requirement).
What were seeking:
- Valid and active license as LPN, LVN, RN, or CNA (flexibility on qualification type)
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Comfort with basic evaluations, health screenings, and supporting special education students
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- CPR certification preferred, but not required
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver daily care and respond to medical needs for students on campus
- Conduct vision and hearing examinations
- Assist in managing care plans for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Maintain up-to-date medical records and document services provided
- Collaborate with staff and, if desired, train on CPR basics
