Multiple contract positions are available in the Greater Tampa Bay Area for passionate nurses ready to make a difference. Openings include opportunities as an RN Health Room Supervisor, LPN Health Room Nurse, and 1:1 nursing care caseloads. As a key member of the school health team, youll collaborate with caring professionals and independently manage the school health clinic, reporting to the District RN Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and provide first aid to students
- Offer student triage and respond to health emergencies
- Maintain timely and accurate records for immunizations and health data
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff
- Perform diabetic monitoring and daily healthcare routines
- Work cohesively with other clinic nurses
- Deliver care as part of a team, while also independently running the on-site clinic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Florida LPN License or RN ASN
- Full-time availability
- Pediatric experience is valued but not mandatory
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare needs in a school setting
