This position offers a dynamic role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN ASN supporting school health services in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The health room nurse will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students by independently managing the school health clinic in New Port Richey, FL. Reporting directly to the District RN Supervisor, this contract role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the school year.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medication to students following established protocols
• Conducting student triage and providing emergency response as needed
• Maintaining accurate immunization records and health documentation
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and staff regarding student health concerns
• Providing first aid and diabetic monitoring support
• Collaborating closely with other clinic nurses to ensure cohesive health services

Qualifications:

• Current Florida LPN license or RN ASN certification
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Availability for full-time hours throughout the contract duration
