A fulfilling opportunity awaits for a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a contract role supporting young learners. In this rewarding position, you will provide dedicated 1:1 care for a 15-year-old female student with complex medical needs, including wheelchair mobility, g-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator assistance. This assignment offers steady, full-time hours in a school environment, allowing you to build meaningful rapport with both the student and school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Minimum of one year nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, home health, or school settings
• Proficiency with g-tubes, tracheostomy, and ventilator care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable providing care independently
• Reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented
• Experience with student transportation is a bonus, but not required

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 healthcare support to a high school-aged student throughout the school day
• Monitor and manage medical equipment (wheelchair, vent, trache, g-tube)
• Assist with medical interventions and personal care as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and student health status
• Collaborate with school staff, healthcare team, and parents to ensure safety and quality care
• Optional participation in student transportation to and from school, providing continuity of care
