Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide essential healthcare support within a school setting in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position offers the chance to contribute directly to student health and well-being in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily nursing care to students, including medication administration, health assessments, and first aid
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement health plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions as needed
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Promote health education and disease prevention among students and staff

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current LPN or LVN license in the state of Minnesota
  • Experience working with children or youth in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to multitask and respond promptly to health emergencies
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a school team
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
