Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1:1 School Nurse
Schedule: Full-Time | 20262027 School Year
Caseload: 1 Medically Fragile Student
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile student in a school setting in Milwaukee, WI. This is a great opportunity for an LPN who enjoys working with children and wants a consistent school-year schedule.
Position Details
- Full-time, MondayFriday school schedule
- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to one medically fragile student
- Monitor the student's health and medical needs throughout the school day
- Provide nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living as needed
- Communicate with school staff, family, and healthcare providers regarding the student's care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow the student's individualized healthcare plan
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin LPN license
- Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
- Experience caring for medically fragile students or patients preferred
- Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently
