Step into a meaningful school-based nursing role near Middleburg, FL! As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll be a trusted healthcare presence supporting students from elementary through high school. This contract position starts August 10, 2026, and runs until May 28, 2027, with part-time, PRN (sub/per-diem) opportunities and the possibility for full-time placement depending on district needs.

Your workdays will be engaging and dynamicproviding essential care to students, addressing a spectrum of daily health needs, and collaborating closely with educators and staff in the school health room setting. Prior school-based experience is a plus, yet a passion for working with children and flexibility remains key. An on-site orientation and comprehensive training will prepare you for success, ensuring you feel confident and supported before your first day.

What we look for:

• Current, active Florida LPN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Previous school nursing experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Commitment to student safety and confidentiality
• Ability to complete and maintain all required fingerprinting and background clearances per Florida regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care, medication administration, and first aid to students
• Implement health protocols and maintain accurate student health records
• Liaise with parents, staff, and healthcare providers as needed
• Participate in ongoing training and district-mandated orientation sessions
