Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts LPN license required
- Prior experience as an LPN or LVN in a school environment strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with elementary-age students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with faculty, parents, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in urgent situations
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency medical care to elementary students during school hours
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with state and district policies
- Serve as a health resource for staff and families, offering guidance on student wellness
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to create a safe and healthy learning environment
- Monitor and communicate student health plans and individualized care for students requiring special attention
