This position is based near Lowell, MA, and calls for a dedicated RN or LPN to provide attentive care to a student while accompanying them on van rides to and from school each day. Your presence and expertise will make a meaningful impact, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for student success.
Requirements:
- Active MA RN or LPN license
- Experience in a school-based nursing setting preferred
- Ability to build rapport with students and maintain professional boundaries
- Strong attention to detail for medication administration and documentation
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to all state and federal student privacy regulations
Role Highlights:
- Accompany a high school student to and from school daily, providing 1:1 medical support on the van
- Monitor and attend to the students health needs and respond to any emergencies
- Administer medications and maintain accurate, timely records
- Communicate and collaborate with school staff and families regarding care plans and any observed concerns
- Support the students well-being throughout their travel and school transition times
