Embark on a meaningful nursing assignment in a supportive school environment, working closely with a male student as a dedicated 1:1 LPN or RN. This full-time contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide continuous care and guidance throughout the remainder of the academic year, summer, and potentially into the next school year.
Youll be a vital presence for the student, ensuring consistent nursing care both during school hours and transportation. The schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, allowing you to make a significant impact in the students life while gaining invaluable professional experience in a school-based setting.
What Youll Bring:
- Active Massachusetts nursing license (LPN or RN)
- Compassionate, attentive approach to individualized student care
- Experience or genuine interest in providing 1:1 care to pediatric or school-age individuals
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and transport teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Commitment for the full duration of the intended assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing services as specified in the students care plan
- Monitor the students health and respond appropriately to medical needs during the school day and transportation
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication with school personnel and family
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of clinical practice in an educational environment
