A healthcare opportunity is available for an LPN with school nursing experience located in Longmont, CO. This full-time contract position supports a medically fragile student in a school environment, providing specialized care essential to the student's health and academic success.
Key Location and Schedule:
- Location: Longmont, Colorado
- Assignment: Niwot High School
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to a 16-year-old female student with significant medical needs on a 1:1 basis
- Monitor and manage the student's health throughout the school day
- Coordinate closely with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure proper care and safety
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with district policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Experience in school nursing or working with medically fragile pediatric patients preferred
- Ability to obtain district-required fingerprints and clear drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to student care
