Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in California
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Strong understanding of minor illness/injury management and medication administration
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, professional demeanor with excellent rapport-building abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine healthcare services to students and staff, including medication administration and basic first aid
• Participate in care planning for students with chronic health needs and collaborate with school personnel on accommodations
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation for regulatory compliance
• Monitor immunization and health screening requirements as mandated by the state
• Educate students, staff, and families on health topics and hygiene best practices
• Provide support during emergencies and collaborate with school teams for effective responses
