Qualifications and Experience:
- Active MA CNA or LPN/LVN license (required)
- Documented training in the administration and adjustment of oxygen delivery
- Proficiency in managing oxygen equipment, monitoring oxygen saturation, and performing relevant clinical assessments
- Proven capability in cardiorespiratory physical assessments and CPR certification
- Background working with children or in school settings is preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail, empathy, and ability to respond calmly in urgent situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized medical support as a 1:1 aide for a student within the school environment
- Monitor oxygen saturation and adjust oxygen delivery per established care plan
- Oversee and maintain oxygen equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Perform daily hydration checks and ongoing clinical assessments
- Respond promptly to changes in the students health status and communicate any concerns to appropriate staff
- Collaborate with school personnel to promote the students safety and participation
This contract opportunity offers a steady schedule of 32.5 hours per week at a single campus, allowing for strong continuity of care and professional satisfaction.
