This onsite, full-time contract position spans 37.5 hours per week and offers a blend of both general health room duties and specialized care for a student requiring tracheostomy support. Multiple openings are available for immediate startand your expertise could help shape positive student experiences from now into the next academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current LPN license for Washington State
- Comfortable with a variety of nursing duties within a school setting
- Experience in trach care or similar 1:1 pediatric nursing required
- Background in schools or clinical pediatric environments preferred
- Adaptable, professional, and effective communicator
What Youll Do:
- Float between general health rooms to provide essential care and first aid to students and staff
- Deliver dedicated 1:1 support for a student with tracheostomy needs, ensuring best practices for safety and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to address student health concerns
- Maintain up-to-date student records and track health plans following relevant protocols
- Optional: Expand your involvement and hours by assisting with before- and after-school activities
