Step into an impactful role supporting students and families by providing essential nursing services throughout the summer session. This contract position, located near Lakeville, MN, offers a flexible opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) with school-based experience to lend expertise either onsite or virtually. Embark on a rewarding assignment running from June 1st through September 1st, with options for both full and part-time schedules (510 hours per week) to accommodate your availability.

Responsibilities will include facilitating health referrals, collaborating closely with families, and delivering care and guidance across multiple grade levels and school settings. Youll play a vital part in promoting a healthy, inclusive school environment while serving as a resource to students, parents/guardians, and educators.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Department of Education School Nurse License
• Previous experience as an LPN/LVN in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in engaging with students and parents/guardians
• Ability to manage diverse health needs across multiple schools or grade levels
• Capacity for independent work and seamless adaptation between virtual and onsite environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive follow-ups on student health referrals
• Maintain timely, clear communication with parents/guardians and staff
• Support school initiatives for student wellness and safety
• Document and track health information in compliance with policies and standards
