Job Description

Provide specialized nursing care in a K-12 school setting near Brunswick, GA, supporting an elementary student with complex medical needs. This contract position, starting ASAP and ending May 22, 2026, offers an opportunity to apply your LPN/LVN expertise in a meaningful educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

Administering medical care to a student with multiple medical conditions, including G-tube feeding, seizure disorder with a history of recurrent seizures, quadriplegia, and strict NPO status
Monitoring the students health throughout the school day and responding to emergencies promptly
Collaborating with educators and school staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment
Maintaining accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies

Qualifications include:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification
Experience working with pediatric patients and managing complex medical conditions in educational settings
Ability to perform specialized nursing tasks such as G-tube feeding and seizure management
Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate care with school personnel
