Job Description

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a leave coverage position in two elementary schools located in Kent, WA. This contract role will primarily involve health room responsibilities, supporting the medical needs of elementary students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and basic nursing care in the school health room
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document student health concerns and conditions
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow established healthcare protocols

Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license valid in Washington State
  • Previous experience working as an LPN/LVN in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children of elementary age
  • Effective organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to cover two school facilities as needed

Position Details:

  • Duration: 1-month contract (January only)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day
  • Location: Kent, WA (elementary schools)
  • Role requires coverage across two separate elementary campuses

This opportunity offers a focused role supporting student health in a school environment for the month of January.
