An opportunity is available for a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide specialized support in a school setting located in Indio, CA. This contract position focuses on delivering dedicated 1:1 care to students requiring medical assistance during the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one nursing support to students with complex medical needs
- Managing tracheostomy care with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Assisting with transportation-related support, including care during bus rides
- Monitoring and documenting student health status and interventions
- Collaborating closely with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid LVN/LPN license in the state of California
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Proficient in tracheostomy care and respiratory support techniques
