A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available in Longmont, CO, supporting a medically fragile high school student. This contract position requires onsite presence at Niwot High School within the St. Vrain Valley School District. The role offers a meaningful chance to make a difference by providing direct care for a 16-year-old female student requiring 1:1 nursing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a medically fragile student in a school setting
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare protocols
- Monitor and document the students health status and communicate changes promptly
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support the students well-being
- Adhere to district policies, including fingerprint and drug screening requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Experience working with pediatric or adolescent patients, particularly medically fragile individuals, preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care within a school environment
- Compliance with required background checks and drug screenings for school district employment
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective documentation and teamwork

- Location: Niwot High School, Longmont, CO
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
- Onsite requirement only
