This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting student health and well-being across two nearby school sites, contributing to a collaborative and caring team.

As an essential member of the school health staff, youll assist with daily health office operations, directly support students with medical needs, and step in as a substitute PCA/1:1 aide whenever needed. The position primarily involves providing compassionate care for students with spina bifida and diabetes, ensuring continuity and quality of health services.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license (required)
• Experience in school nursing and/or pediatric care strongly preferred
• Willingness to work across two school sites (within a 10-minute drive)
• Ability to assist with daily student health routines and adapt to changing needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the school nurse with daily clinic responsibilities and student care
• Administer medication and health procedures as directed
• Serve as a substitute 1:1 or PCA support for 3 students as needed
• Document and communicate health information in accordance with school protocols
• Travel as needed between two nearby school sites
