A specialized nursing position is available at a preschool and childcare facility in Flint, MI, offering a contract opportunity focused on providing essential health support for young children. The role involves working half-day shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on select dates from February through May, offering a predictable schedule ideal for candidates seeking part-time engagement.
Key responsibilities include 1:1 nursing support tailored to individual student needs, specifically involving G-tube suctioning and tracheostomy (trach) care. The position may involve minimal to no toileting assistance, allowing focus on critical medical care tasks.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with school health experience
- Proficiency in G-tube suctioning and tracheostomy care
- Ability to provide patient-focused 1:1 nursing support
- Compliance with district requirements, including fingerprinting and obtaining a district badge prior to starting
