Work Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:45 AM2:45 PM (onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for a student in Fiskdale, Massachusetts. The student attends school two days per week and requires nursing support during the school day. If the student is absent, the district may allow the LPN to work scheduled hours in the school clinic or elsewhere within the district.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts LPN license
- School-based nursing experience preferred
- Experience providing 1:1 student support preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while following nursing protocols
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing support during scheduled school hours
- Monitor and support the student's health and safety needs
- Follow individualized nursing and healthcare plans
- Communicate with school staff and the supervising RN
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Provide support in the school clinic or another district setting when the student is absent, as permitted by the district
